What data do we collect?

If you create an account: your e-mail address and password. Your password is never stored in plain text; only an irreversible hash is kept.

If you keep a calorie diary while signed in: your diary entries (food name, amount, calories, meal, date) are stored on the server, linked to your account. The purpose is synchronization between web and mobile.

If you use forms such as Q&A, product suggestions or editor applications: the information you enter in the form.

We collect nothing else. We use no advertising, tracking or third-party analytics tools.

Camera and local data in the mobile app

The camera is used only to scan barcodes. The camera image is processed on your device; no photo or video is sent to the server. Only the scanned barcode number is transmitted.

If you use the app without signing in, your calorie diary, water/exercise records and preferences are stored only on your own device and never reach us. Deleting the app deletes this data.

Your sign-in credentials (session token) are kept in the device's secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore).

Cookies

The website uses only the essential session cookie required for signing in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

Who is your data shared with?

We do not sell your data and do not share it with anyone for marketing purposes.

Infrastructure providers we rely on to run the service: Cloudflare (hosting and database), Resend (delivery of account verification e-mails).

When scanning a barcode, for products not in our database the barcode number is looked up in the open Open Food Facts database. No information identifying you is sent with this query.

Your rights

Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and comparable regulations, you have the right to access your data and to request its correction or deletion.

To request deletion of your account and all data linked to it, simply write to info@muzekki.com from your account's e-mail address; your request is completed within 30 days at the latest.
