Check Storage Conditions Before You Buy

The Ministry reminds consumers to pay attention to storage conditions when shopping for food. The storage instructions printed on the label should be read, and shoppers should make sure the product is offered for sale under those conditions. Checking the temperature displays of refrigerators and freezers is also recommended. Food kept at the wrong temperature can spoil and may pose a health risk when consumed.
