Logos of recognized standards such as COSMOS and Ecocert provide international acceptance for natural/organic cosmetics.

One of the most common standards in natural and organic cosmetics is COSMOS, which has two levels: COSMOS Organic and COSMOS Natural. Ecocert and NATRUE are also widely recognized systems.

These standards define detailed rules on ingredient ratios and banned substances. The logo shows which standard a product is certified under.

A certificate from a recognized standard eases a product's acceptance, especially in European and Gulf markets.
