Are chickens raised with hormones?

No. According to the Ministry, hormones are not used in poultry farming, and scientific studies also show that giving hormones to chickens is neither economically nor technically feasible. There is no hormone approved in Türkiye for promoting growth in chickens, its use is prohibited by legislation, and official controls to date have found no evidence of hormone use. Chickens grow faster than in the past because of breeding work, balanced feeding and modern husbandry conditions.
