Did you know?

Gathered from a tree native to the Brazilian savannah. ⚠️ The raw seed is inedible because of digestive inhibitors and must be roasted, after which it tastes between peanut and almond. The outer pulp of the fruit is used locally as animal feed.

Consumption tip

Even natural produce may carry pesticide residues. Wash fruits and vegetables under plenty of running water and discard the outer leaves of leafy greens. A short soak in vinegar water can also help reduce residues. Where possible, prefer certified organic or good-agricultural-practice products.
