Did you know?

The small, triangular seeds of the beech tree, sitting in pairs inside a spiny husk. ⚠️ Eating them raw in quantity is inadvisable; they are roasted before eating. In Europe they served as a source of flour and oil in years of scarcity.

Consumption tip

Even natural produce may carry pesticide residues. Wash fruits and vegetables under plenty of running water and discard the outer leaves of leafy greens. A short soak in vinegar water can also help reduce residues. Where possible, prefer certified organic or good-agricultural-practice products.
