Did you know?

A black, warty fungus that develops underground beside the roots of oak and hazel, found with trained dogs or pigs. Its aroma is so powerful that it is grated in grams rather than served in portions. It is among the most expensive foods in the world.

Consumption tip

Even natural produce may carry pesticide residues. Wash fruits and vegetables under plenty of running water and discard the outer leaves of leafy greens. A short soak in vinegar water can also help reduce residues. Where possible, prefer certified organic or good-agricultural-practice products.
