Did you know?

A large, white, kidney-shaped bean whose thin skin lets it cook to a creamy texture while the bean itself holds together. It is the foundation of central Italian cooking, especially Tuscan soups. Its long, straight shape distinguishes it from other white beans.

Consumption tip

Even natural produce may carry pesticide residues. Wash fruits and vegetables under plenty of running water and discard the outer leaves of leafy greens. A short soak in vinegar water can also help reduce residues. Where possible, prefer certified organic or good-agricultural-practice products.
