Did you know?

A bean harvested before full maturity, while the seed is still green, which is why it keeps its pale green colour. In French cooking it is the classic accompaniment to lamb. Its skin is finer and its texture softer than that of other dried beans.

Consumption tip

Even natural produce may carry pesticide residues. Wash fruits and vegetables under plenty of running water and discard the outer leaves of leafy greens. A short soak in vinegar water can also help reduce residues. Where possible, prefer certified organic or good-agricultural-practice products.
