Did you know?

A lantern-shaped chilli ranging from orange to red and very hot, carrying a distinctly floral and fruity aroma alongside the heat. It is used in sauces and pickles on Mexico's Yucatan peninsula. Its heat is many times that of the jalapeño.

Consumption tip

Even natural produce may carry pesticide residues. Wash fruits and vegetables under plenty of running water and discard the outer leaves of leafy greens. A short soak in vinegar water can also help reduce residues. Where possible, prefer certified organic or good-agricultural-practice products.
