Did you know?

A downy, grey-green plant of high rocky slopes whose flowering stems are dried and simmered as a drink. It is known as mountain tea in Turkey and shepherd's tea in Greece. Overharvesting has reduced some species in the wild.

Consumption tip

Even natural produce may carry pesticide residues. Wash fruits and vegetables under plenty of running water and discard the outer leaves of leafy greens. A short soak in vinegar water can also help reduce residues. Where possible, prefer certified organic or good-agricultural-practice products.
