Did you know?

This small, pale green fruit has been gathered across northern Australia for thousands of years. It has been measured to hold one of the highest vitamin C concentrations of any known fruit; too sour and fibrous to eat plain, it is usually made into jam, sauce or powder.

Consumption tip

Even natural produce may carry pesticide residues. Wash fruits and vegetables under plenty of running water and discard the outer leaves of leafy greens. A short soak in vinegar water can also help reduce residues. Where possible, prefer certified organic or good-agricultural-practice products.
