Did you know?

A Japanese herb of the carrot family with slender stems carrying three leaflets, and its name means exactly that. The taste falls between parsley and celery, and since heat destroys it, it is added to soups and rice at the last moment. It is one of the classic greens of Japanese cooking.

Consumption tip

Even natural produce may carry pesticide residues. Wash fruits and vegetables under plenty of running water and discard the outer leaves of leafy greens. A short soak in vinegar water can also help reduce residues. Where possible, prefer certified organic or good-agricultural-practice products.
