Did you know?

A brown mushroom with a slender stem that grows in clusters on poplar and willow stumps, cultivated in Italy under the name pioppino. The stem stays crisp while the cap gives a nutty aroma. It is among the first mushrooms known to have been cultivated, going back to Roman times.

Consumption tip

Even natural produce may carry pesticide residues. Wash fruits and vegetables under plenty of running water and discard the outer leaves of leafy greens. A short soak in vinegar water can also help reduce residues. Where possible, prefer certified organic or good-agricultural-practice products.
