Did you know?

A wild garlic that carpets damp woodland floors in spring; it is the leaves that are used, not the bulb. ⚠️ Before flowering the leaves resemble those of the poisonous lily of the valley and autumn crocus; the telling difference is the strong garlic smell when a leaf is crushed.

Consumption tip

Even natural produce may carry pesticide residues. Wash fruits and vegetables under plenty of running water and discard the outer leaves of leafy greens. A short soak in vinegar water can also help reduce residues. Where possible, prefer certified organic or good-agricultural-practice products.
