Did you know?

A mushroom grown on rice straw, enclosed in an egg-shaped veil that gives it a wrapped appearance. It is common in Asian soups and stir-fries and is mostly sold canned. ⚠️ In the wild it can be confused with a deadly poisonous species, so only cultivated stock should be eaten.

Consumption tip

Even natural produce may carry pesticide residues. Wash fruits and vegetables under plenty of running water and discard the outer leaves of leafy greens. A short soak in vinegar water can also help reduce residues. Where possible, prefer certified organic or good-agricultural-practice products.
