Did you know?

A climbing legume bearing large seeds inside velvety-haired pods. ⚠️ The seed contains L-DOPA and other compounds and is never eaten raw; it must be boiled at length in several changes of water. In some regions it is also grown as green manure and animal fodder.

Consumption tip

Even natural produce may carry pesticide residues. Wash fruits and vegetables under plenty of running water and discard the outer leaves of leafy greens. A short soak in vinegar water can also help reduce residues. Where possible, prefer certified organic or good-agricultural-practice products.
