Whole-wheat bread campaign launched in Konya

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the Ministry of Health launched a pilot whole-wheat bread campaign in Konya to steer the public toward more fibrous, nutritious bread. Guiding target fibre values were set for whole-wheat flour and bread, to be monitored and reported by the provincial directorate. The resulting indicators are intended to serve as groundwork for future regulation.
