- What it is & how it is made
- A synthetic blue colour; it is chemically produced and carries no animal source.
- Where it is used
- Used for blue colour in confectionery, ice cream, beverages and some medical markers.

- Allergic reactions have rarely been reported; it is restricted in some countries. Caution is advised from the standpoint of the tayyib principle.
